Bloodshed Dev-C++ 5 is a feature rich Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for the ever so popular programming languages C/C++. It uses Mingw port of GCC (GNU Compiler Collection) as it's compiler. Dev-C++ can be easily used in combination with Cygwin or any other GCC based compiler. It contains a number of pre compiled packages that can be used directly within the projects. You can also import your MS Visual C++ project to Dev C++ without any errors. A free tutorial on C/C++ is also included within the software, You it use it as a reference. Many new features are also added in this version. Features such as Integrated Debbugger, Customizable syntax highlighting, Quick creation of Windows, console, static libraries and DLLs etc. are very helpful to programmers, it also increases efficiency & reduces errors & bugs in applications. CVS support is also included in this version. It is a free & complete replacement of the expensive Microsoft Visual C++ IDE. It is a blessing in disguise for C/C++ developers. |
